of the patron (who turns out to be the grandchild of a board member) threatens to sue the library – and the chatbot for intentional infliction of emotional distress. The board member wants the AI – and the staff member who created the chatbot, fired. Is the
library liable? Can a chatbot be sued? <o:p></o:p></p>
