The Friends of the Roseville Public Library purchased the Peddlar's Cart to use as a prop to promote the Friends and their activities in 1998 from the Otto Building Company in Burton, Michigan. The Friends stopped using it approximately 10 years ago and it
has been in the Library's (dry) basement since. It is in good shape with some scarring on the white laminated surface. It has two small drawers and a cubby that lock (keys are are available) for storage. These carts from Otto Building were sold to other
libraries across the country for the same "display" purpose including the Alexandrian Public Library in Indiana. I have a folder that includes the original invoice and blueprints for the cart.</div>

The cart is very heavy and does not move easily, however you can move it short distances safely. The Friends rarely moved it from the lobby. I could not see a way to easily remove the four canopy supports and the canopy for transport. It may have to be
transported in one piece. </div>
