So even if they are working and we close in the middle of their shift, they are paid only until they go home. <br><br>I don't know what our jury duty policy is. If a salaried employee is called for Jury Duty, the employee's regular pay shall be maintained by the library for a period of, but not to exceed 5 working days. Salaried employees are required to reimburse the library for the jury pay received (Excluding
travel reimbursements) while regular pay is maintained. Jury duty beyond 5 days required a leave of absence without pay. Hourly employees will not receive compensation from the library for jury duty.</div>

So, my question is how do other libraries treat jury duty and employee pay? Current jury duty pay in the state is a measly $30 a day for the first 5 days and $45 afterwards. Since my hourly employees make more than $15 an hour, they will be losing money. Doesn't
seem fair.</div>
