Education is an integral part of the K-12 curriculum throughout Michigan. While most of the

Academic Standards for PE</a> are focused on actual physical activity, there are some moments when no-dress days happen and physical activity for students is not possible. Maybe it’s raining, snowing, or sleeting and that day’s activity must be indoors. Perhaps
the gymnasium has been closed because of a local election taking place. Occasionally, individual students may have forgotten gym clothes or sustained an injury. Whatever the case, the

asked to identify examples of social and technical dance forms. Further, the Level 2 outcome of S2.4 pushes students to compare similarities and differences between these forms.
