Librarians assist students and employees with their academic research and general information needs in support of LCC courses and academic programs. They accomplish this by:

• Delivering in person and virtual reference assistance<br>
• Teaching academic research (information literacy skills) in 1:1 sessions and customized for individual classes utilizing a variety of instructional delivery modes and technologies<br>
• Providing convenient access to credible and reliable academic information resources in a variety of formats<br>
• Serving as library liaison to departments and teaching faculty<br>
• Developing content for the library website, online tutorials and research guides<br>
• Supporting collection development projects<br>
• Supporting library goals and initiatives<br>

This position includes evening, weekends, and summer hours.<br>
