They’re well known for a variety of popular culture-themed projects and cool STEM activities, but also for a shocking and nasty surprise if you happen to step on one. Or two. But do you know where they come from or how LEGO started as a business? Did you know that the name ‘LEGO’ is an abbreviation of the two Danish words “leg godt”, meaning “play well”? Did you also know that the “brick in its present form was launched in 1958”?
