You are invited to participate in a web-based <a href="https://ischooluw.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_daNlDrbA027ID6C">
online survey</a> on Trauma in the Library. “Trauma in the Library” is the first nationwide study of how library staff experience trauma as part of their daily work. Funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS: RE-246341-OLS-20), the aims of
 this two-year project, are to understand the types of situations that create workplace stress for library staff; the range and prevalence of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) factors that library staff experience; recommend appropriate trauma-informed
 care methods for library staff; and design MLIS curricula on trauma-informed care for library staff. This is open to current or former library employees who worked in or for libraries associated with the United States.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">This is a research project under the primary investigator Dr. Karen Fisher, being conducted by Lexa Gambrill, a research coordinator at the University of Washington. It should take approximately 10-15 minutes
 to complete.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
