<a href="https://abos-outreach.com/awards">2022 ABOS Awards Program</a> is NOW OPEN.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The 2022 ABOS Awards include:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bernard Vavrek Scholarship</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">It will be awarded annually to a student who is currently enrolled and has completed at least one semester in a Library and/or Information Science graduate degree program, and who is interested in this particular
field within the library profession.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Book Bike Community Impact Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Presented annually to a library, department, or an individual who has provided exemplary library book bike service to their community.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Carol Hole Conference Attendance Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Five (5) winners will receive free conference registration and $500 towards travel and accommodations expenses to the 2022 ABOS Conference in Scottsdale, AZ.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Innovation in Outreach Programming Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This award recognizes a library's achievement in planning and implementing an innovative or creative outreach program, which has had a measurable impact on its community. Programs should be unique and cutting-edge.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">John Philip Excellence in Outreach Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The John Philip Excellence in Outreach Award is given to an individual in recognition of their outstanding contributions and prominent leadership to the Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Karen Hake Outstanding Bookmobile Librarian Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Presented annually to a bookmobile manager, supervisor, or MLIS librarian in recognition of their continuous dedication and commitment to the bookmobile profession.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Paralibrarian Student Scholarship</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Awarded annually to a student who is currently enrolled and has completed at least one semester in a paraprofessional library program at the bachelor, associate, or certificate level. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Pattie Johnston Outreach Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Presented annually to a bookmobile or outreach support staff member who has provided exemplary service to their community through bookmobile and outreach services. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Preschool Outreach and School Services Inspirations Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Presented annually to a library, department, or an individual who has provided exemplary library outreach services to children and students in their community, from age infant to college.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Rising Stars Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Highlights the achievements of those new to the profession. Rising Stars are those people who display a passion for the bookmobile and outreach profession, both at work and via volunteer or association activities. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Senior Services Super Star Award</span></strong><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Presented annually to a library, department, or an individual who has provided exemplary library outreach services to seniors in their community, including homebound seniors and seniors residing in facilities.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
