<p class="MsoNormal">Last April, the Library of Michigan began a new cohort training project for public library directors and/or financial staff to learn in-depth public library financial management. The cohort activities centered around instruction in Public
Library Financial Management from the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government, culminating in a certificate in financial management. The participants completed a series of six University of Georgia classes, a class project and a series
of webinars with LM staff on Michigan specific finance topics. <br>

The first cohort group is graduating today. The participants did a great job as we learned together in this first iteration of the cohort. Congratulations to our graduates!<br>
