JOB TITLE: Substitute Librarian</p>

RESPONSIBILITIES</p>

· Provide professional reference and reader’s advisory services to library users of all ages.</p>

<p style="font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:"Times New Roman"">

· Assist patrons with using the library and locating materials.</p>

<p style="font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:"Times New Roman"">

· Instruct patrons in the use of all library resources, including databases and downloadables.</p>

<p style="font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:"Times New Roman"">

REQUIREMENTS</p>

· Master’s degree from an ALA accredited library school.</p>

<p style="font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:"Times New Roman"">

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.</p>

<p style="font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:"Times New Roman"">

· Public library experience preferred.</p>

<p style="font-size:medium;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);font-family:"Times New Roman"">

SALARY RANGE: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour</p>

HOURS</p>

· Variable and flexible, up to 19 hours per week.</p>

· Day, evening and weekend shifts available.</p>
