as "Black Wall Street"--were looted, burned and bombed from the air in the worst single incident of racial violence in American history. Thousands of Black residents were left homeless and hundreds were injured; the number of dead remains unknown. The history
of this horrific event was systematically suppressed for decades, until courageous individuals fought to bring it to light. <span style="margin:0px"> </span><i>The Ground Breaking</i><span style="margin:0px"> </span>tells the story of the massacre, unearths
the history of how it was covered up, and recounts the ongoing efforts to identify victims and provide justice for survivors and their families.</span></font></div>
