<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Spoken Word Educator and Respect the Mic anthology editor Peter Kahn will lead an interactive workshop with an alumni contributor to the anthology whose poem will be read and discussed, along with another
 from the anthology. Peter will also be joined by current student members of the OPRFHS Spoken Word Club. Participants will be shown ways to implement the anthology and corresponding website to engage young people with poetry. Participants will write and, on

 Parents and Caregivers of children, ages 0-5, in Michigan with the 5 Practices of ECRR. On
<a href="https://readytoreadmi.org/resources">https://readytoreadmi.org/resources</a> there are downloadable RTRM Storytime support materials (from a program toolkit to stickers you can print!) for public libraries to insert their own information and use while
 engaging families with RTRM programs.  Additionally, we have more support materials, including Posters and Trifolds in English, Arabic, and Spanish, that can be found at

 educators, librarians, and others in selecting the best materials for youth. The 2022 announcements will also include ALA Affiliate Awards including the Asian/Pacific American Awards for Literature, Sydney Taylor Book Award, and the biennial American Indian
 Youth Literature Award. Selected by committees composed of librarians and other literature and media experts, the awards encourage original and creative work in the field of children's and young adult literature and media.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
