<p class="MsoNormal">We are happy to announce that the Orion Township Public Library Board has hired Chase McMunn as the new director. Chase’s start date was January 18 and he will replace Karen Knox who held the position for nine years before she resigned
earlier this year. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Chase previously served as Assistant Director for the County of San Luis Obispo Library in California, where he served since 2015. Prior to the county of San Luis Obispo Library, he served as a Community Library Manager of Topanga and Malibu
Libraries for the County of Los Angeles Library from 2011 to 2014. Chase also served as a Teen Services Librarian and Adult Services Librarian at the East Los Angeles Library and La Crescenta Library, respectively from 2008 to 2011. Chase received his Master
of Library and Information Science from UCLA in 2008 and his BA in History from University of Michigan in 2004.<o:p></o:p></p>
