<p class="MsoNormal">Cornerstones of Science and the Maryland, Idaho and Connecticut state library partners, were recently awarded a Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian IMLS grant (250085-OLS-21) entitled
<i>STEM Equity Framework: Building Equitable, Inclusive Library Services That Address Community Needs</i>.   The goal of the project is to work with state and public library leaders to develop a shared definition and attributes of a <b>STEM Equity Library</b>. 
 This includes developing the strategies and the training library directors need to build operational capacity that delivers intentional equitable science and technology library services able to serve all individuals and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic
 backgrounds. <u></u><u></u></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As a first step, they want to learn about the very good work that is already occurring throughout the country that they might learn from and build on. So, please complete

Proficient computer skills, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills required. Minimum associate degree in accounting, business, librarianship, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience required. Minimum two years secretarial, HR, office management, or administrative experience required. Previous library experience desirable.<br>

 literacy resources for children and young people.<u></u><u></u></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Selected libraries will receive a printed copy of the "Thinking Money for (ALL) Kids" book list with corresponding best practices and programming ideas for public and school libraries; a print copy of "Rainy Day Ready: Financial Literacy
 Programs and Tools" edited by Melanie Welch and Patrick Hogan for the ALA Public Programs Office (ALA Editions, 2020), a ready-to-use guide for library staff with 16 model financial capability programs; and one print copy of five books from the book list for
