 Summit will explore how libraries can support cradle-to-career solutions by growing their impact on improving third-grade reading, combating food insecurities and enhancing mental health.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif">The 2021 Rural Library Summit celebrates the power of libraries to engage rural communities to build stronger, more equitable supports for all young people. Presentations and workshops
 will introduce how to create successful cradle-to-career initiatives and offer practitioners the opportunity to share what has worked in their community.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond",serif">Cradle-to-career initiatives create pathways to success for all young people by recognizing that access to opportunity is limited for many and supports are needed to meet the needs
 of all. Supports include programs addressing food insecurity, early education, literacy, mental health, college access and much more. Public libraries play a key role in creating successful initiatives by catalyzing the community to work together. The Rural
 Library Summit will introduce attendees to the mindsets, skills and tools needed to bring community partners together to build shared pathways to success.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
