<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Rachel Marie-Crane Williams will speak about her latest graphic novel,
<i>Run Home if You Don’t Want to Be Killed</i>. In the context of WWII and the emerging civil rights movement, Detroit was the scene of deadly civil unrest in the summer of 1943. Professor Williams’ book tells the story of this painful time in Michigan’s history.
She will join the Clarke to share her research and artistry in developing this book.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
