<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As community hubs for connectivity and information, libraries play a central role in addressing the digital divide. They are uniquely positioned to help eligible residents of
their communities learn about and sign up for the Emergency Broadband Benefit’s discounts of up to $50 per month on internet service and one-time discounts of up to $100 on tablets, laptops or desktop computers. The past year has shown us how important reliable
internet access is, and library staff have a critical opportunity to help their patrons access the benefits.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
