and drink and what they mean to the people of Michigan. Berens’ book <i>Ruffage: A Practical Guide to Vegetables</i> was named one of the twelve best new cookbooks by the
<i>New York Times</i> in 2019 and was a 2020 Michigan Notable Book. This talk opens the Clarke’s newest exhibition,
<i>Michigan Foodways: Exploring History through Memories of Food</i>. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
