<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">On <b>Thursday, February 11, at 7:00 pm</b>, the Clarke Historical Library will host Dr. Kathryn A. Remlinger, professor in the Department of English at Grand Valley State University. Dr.
Remlinger is author of <i>Yooper Talk: Dialect as Identity in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula</i> (2017). She will draw on her more than decade-long study of Finnish accents in the UP to discuss both the accents and how people who have them are perceived by others.
