The Cataloging Clerk creates and maintains collection records as the first step in preparing library items for circulation and making them searchable for patrons via the catalog. This position involves a variety of technical and clerical procedures, and requires
strong typing skills and a high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate records with a quick turnaround. A team-player with good listening and communication skills will succeed in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with their
