In regard to the patron's privacy, it sounds like we will need to wipe down all items. I have a question about the inside of the items though (books, audio books, etc.). If germs can live on the outside of an item for up to 72 hours, how long can they live on the inside of a book's pages or an enclosed audio book, etc?

If we're being told to use our own pens to sign things, does that mean that slick book covers and DVDs might be a source of infection. >From the reports I've read, some are saying the virus can live on these surfaces for up to 48 hours--and you cannot clean these items with bleach or spray cleaners. I've not seen any conversations regarding this phase of a Pandemic for libraries.<u></u>
