<span style="color:black">The University Libraries at Western Michigan University seeks candidates for the position of Instruction & Outreach Librarian. This entry-level liaison librarian position will build collaborative partnerships between the libraries
and social science departments in the College of Arts and Sciences, primarily history, gender and women’s studies, and political science, plus other social sciences disciplines as assigned. Liaison librarians support Western Michigan University’s commitment

<span style="color:black">This is a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position in the Instruction & Outreach Department of the University Libraries and will report to the Associate Dean for Education and User Services. Primary areas of responsibility
include teaching library skills and concepts to undergraduate and graduate students, developing in-person and online learning activities, developing library programs to support student and faculty research, providing in-person and online research consultations,
and monitoring the collections for relevance to the assigned curricular areas. In support of our commitment to growth and development, the successful candidate will enjoy many opportunities to develop a professional record, including conference travel and
