<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black">Thanks in large part to other libraries in the area leading this trend, including Buchanan and Kalamazoo Public, the Library Board wholeheartedly (but somewhat surprisingly!)
approved my suggestion that we eliminate overdue fines. As a result, <span style="background:white">I am pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2020, the Galesburg-Charleston Memorial District Library is going "fine-free!"</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
