<b>SALARY: $24.3120/hr - $27.3060/hr with paid time off.
This is a 19 – 26 hour/week part time position that includes two
evening shifts, every other Saturday, and every fifth Sunday
(during the school year).</b><br>

JOB DESCRIPTION: <br>
<br>
Under supervision of the Public Services Area Coordinator, this
position is responsible for reference and readers advisory
services, collection development activities for various adult
collections, instruction in the use of the library and its
resources, and adult and technology programming.<br>
<br>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br>
<br>
Provides information, reference, and referral services in Youth
and Adult Services.<br>
<br>
Selects, evaluates, and weeds materials for specific areas of the
adult collection.<br>
<br>
Provides instruction in the use of print and digital resources.<br>
<br>
Develops and/or presents adult and technology programs.<br>
<br>
REQUIREMENTS:<br>
<br>
Masters Degree in Library Science from an accredited ALA college
or university.<br>
<br>
Excellent oral and written communication skills.<br>
<br>
Physical strength and dexterity to handle materials and boxes up
to 25 pounds in weight and to transport loaded book carts.<br>
<br>
Ability to work evening and weekend work schedule.<br>
<br>
Knowledge of online databases, reference resources, and public
computer applications to assist the general public.<br>
<br>
Knowledge of tablet and/or mobile devices and how to use them to
access Overdrive, RBDigital, Hoopla, and other digital services.<br>
<br>
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with colleagues, supervisors, and the general public.<br>
<br>
<br>
NOTE: Applicants are required to pass a post-offer,
