This Class III Library serves approximately 10,250 residents with one facility and 15 unstaffed outreach locations. The Tamarack District Library is a treasured community center, with a 10 year old building and a plethora of amenities for its patrons. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and two to four years of administrative experience – including at least 2 years of public library experience—and possess or be qualified to obtain a Level 3 Certificate from the Library of Michigan. An MLS from an ALA accredited program is preferred. The successful candidate will have a team approach to management, genuine concern for customer satisfaction, a pleasant demeanor, and a sense of humor.
