This position has an immediate start date status because of the retirement by the current manager at the end of the month, but we will be flexible with the understanding that you may need to give notice at your current place of employment.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This unique opportunity in DeTour Village, located on the far eastern tip of the Upper Peninsula, is in an idyllic harbor town on Lake Huron. Many of you may know it as the town where you catch the ferry to Drummond Island. The townspeople are friendly, and the sounds of ships passing through the fog can be heard on many nights. I personally have had the pleasure to live there for the past two years.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The library is part of the school, which encompasses Kindergarten through High School, and also houses the DeTour Academy of Arts and Technology. They have an active Friends of the Library group, and the library serves both the school and the public, and is an integral part of the small community.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Job Posting and Job Description are attached.
