<p class="MsoNormal">The Jackson District Library is looking for a new Assistant Director for Public Services to join our team in Jackson.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Under the direction of the Library Director, plans and directs all central library and branch library operations, and coordinates programming throughout the Jackson District Library.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Assists the Library Director in overseeing the operations of the library system. Supervises Branch Managers, Community Engagement Coordinator and Customer Service Coordinator.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Reviews and administers policies and procedures for all Jackson District Library (JDL) public services to ensure efficiency and high quality customer service.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Serves as a member of the library’s senior management team and assists director in preparing and maintaining the library’s budget.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Participates in collection development and maintenance throughout library system.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Serves as liaison with numerous local agencies and the general public to share information, maintain positive public relations and promote library services.

<p class="MsoNormal">Assumes charge of the library system in the absence of the Library Director.
