Mr. Keep will work from the Society’s Lansing-based office, providing leadership for strategic fund-development initiatives, such as major and planned giving programs, annual giving, donor stewardship and recognition programs, grant writing, and public relations related to development.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>“Mr. Keep comes to us with a wealth of fundraising, relationship-building and management experience,” commented Larry J. Wagenaar, Executive Director of the Historical Society of Michigan. “He possesses a great enthusiasm for the Society’s mission and will be an outstanding addition to our staff and leadership team.”<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Prior to this position, Mr. Keep was a consultant with The Leadership Group in Grand Rapids, where he led strategic planning efforts for leadership development across Michigan. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in;line-height:150%'><span style='font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Before that, he served as director of philanthropy and communications for Catholic Charities West Michigan and as an editor with MLive.com and The Grand Rapids Press.
