The dates of the contract are 6/18/18-8/6/18 and the stipend for the entire duration of the contract is $1,400. Housing is provided for the dates contracted (early arrival/late stay requests, if space is available, will be paid in full by the employee). This position serves on the front lines of Interlochen’s young institutional archives initiative.</font></span></div><div><font face="verdana, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102);font-weight:bold"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">Major Responsibilities: </font></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">- Provide much-needed assistance in the organization of the archives</font></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">- Conducting inventories across campus</font></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">- Assisting in the digitization, cataloging of print and photographic archival materials, and assisting the archivist in a variety of capacities.</font></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">- Handling, processing, and cataloging archival materials by providing standard metadata.</font></span></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">- Handling negatives, slides, and print photographic materials.</font></span></div><div><font face="verdana, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><span style="color:rgb(102,102,102)"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">This position will be sharing its time (40 hrs/week) between the Institutional Archives and Photo Archives.
