<a href="http://www.bookclubcentral.org/">Book Club Central SJP pick</a>, chosen by Honorary Book Club Central Chair Sarah Jessica Parker, is “Stay with Me” by Ayobami Adebayo, published by Knopf, an imprint of Penguin Random House.<br>
Book Club Central, designed in consultation with expert librarians, provides the public with the very best in reading. Book Club Central debuted this past summer and since that time has become a place for engaging content and information for book clubs and
 readers everywhere. Ms. Parker’s previous picks for Book Club Central have been “No One is Coming to Save Us” by Stephanie Powell Watts, and “Exit West” by Mohsin Hamid.<br>

</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt; line-height:115%; font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The American Library Association (ALA) invites libraries to apply for a pilot of the
<a href="https://apply.ala.org/greatstories/">Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) Great Stories Club (GSC)</a>, a thematic reading and discussion program series that will engage underserved teens through literature-based library outreach programs
 and racial healing work. The TRHT GSC is supported by <a href="http://www.ala.org/news/press-releases/2017/10/ala-receives-11-million-wk-kellogg-foundation-reading-and-discussion-model">
a grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation</a>.<br>
An expansion of ALA’s long-standing GSC program model, the TRHT GSC will feature books that explore the coming-of-age experience for historically marginalized youth. The TRHT GSC is a part of the Kellogg Foundation’s Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation efforts,
 a comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change, and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.<br>
