<p class="MsoPlainText">Literacy Foundation and YALSA will be awarding grants totaling $40K to<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">public and school libraries for their summer reading programs. Grants are<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">$1K each.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Twenty Summer Learning Resources Grants are targeted toward libraries in<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">need with the purpose of helping them purchase resources or provide<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">services to bolster their teen summer learning programs. Twenty Teen Summer<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Intern Grants are designed to help teens build job skills while aiding<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">libraries with their summer learning initiatives. Grants will be given to<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">libraries for the purpose of hiring summer teen interns to assist with<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">summer reading activities. Applications are due January 1, 2018.<o:p></o:p></p>
