<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt">Our new data analyst, Kathy Kosinski, has been hard at work digging deep into the MeL stats. She took a look at the numbers for the first week back to school and something very interesting caught her attention.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt">34% of all visitors clicking away from MeL in the first week of the school year were going to BookFlix (about 7% were going to Academic OneFile, the second place winner). That's pretty phenomenal.

<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt">We have a BookFlix tip for you this week. Did you know that BookFlix has a search feature? It's true. To find it, click on "Resources" next to the apple located at the top right of the page. Once the page fully loads,
click on the red "search" button near the top left of the page under the BookFlix logo. A window will open that will allow you to search BookFlix. You're welcome.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt">All the fiction/nonfiction pairs in BookFlix are categorized according to nine themes: Animals and Nature; Earth and Sky; Family and Community; People and Places; Music and Rhyme; ABC’s and 1, 2, 3’s; Adventure; Imagination;
and Celebrations. From the Home page, click on one of the nine themes to browse the pairs in each category. Pairs are listed in alphabetical order by story title. The Browse is presented in a flipbook format. Pages can be turned by clicking the appropriate
buttons; or click the tabs at the side of the book to jump to other pages.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt">From the Browse page, click on a pair to go to a Pair page, from which the fiction/nonfiction pair and all its elements can be accessed. To return to the Browse, click on the link at the bottom of the left-hand navigation.<o:p></o:p></p>
