<p class="MsoNormal">In the spring of 2011, Clarkston resident Gini Schultz began work on a Michigan Album Quilt of Authors and Illustrators. Forty-one authors and illustrators returned autographed muslin squares that were then embellished and incorporated
into the album quilt.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">It is with great honor and pleasure that we announce the quilt is now finished and ready to be unveiled to the public. In celebration, we are holding an open house on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at our library from 2-5 p.m. We’ll be
serving refreshments, holding a silent auction of related items, and creator Gini Schultz will be here to tell her story of how the quilt came to be. And we’re hoping that some of our distinguished authors and illustrators stop in to celebrate with us as well.<o:p></o:p></p>
