connections needed to enable high-speed broadband connectivity) and that n</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#333333;background:white">early 50,000 schools and libraries nation-wide received Wi</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#333333;background:white">$B!>(B</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#333333;background:white">Fi
support in 2015, compared to zero in funding years 2013 and 2014. The memo also reports a<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black;background:white">drop in the median price of connectivity per Mbps from
$22.00 in 2013 to $11.73 in 2015 and $7.05 in 2016. The report also points out that Category 2 budgets will begin to expire in 2019 and action to fund the program is therefore needed.
