<p style="font-size: 14px;">This day-long, multi-state event will take place both in Lansing, Michigan and Indianapolis, Indiana. Speakers and participants will interact both in-person and remotely. The morning will feature an overview and update on the Library
of Congress BIBFRAME pilot project from Beacher Wiggins (Director for Acquisitions and Bibliographic Access, Library of Congress) and a presentation from Linked Data industry leader
<a href="https://zepheira.com/" target="_blank">Zepheira</a> <img src="http://www.mcls.org/files/4114/0059/7872/new-window-icon.png" alt="new-window-icon.png" width="13" height="14"> on the implications for libraries.</p>
<p style="font-size: 14px;">Afternoon sessions will include presentations from:</p>

<li>Joshua Barton and Robin Dean of Michigan State University Libraries on how they are preparing staff for the Linked Data environment
</li><li>Andrea Kappler of the Evansville Vanderburgh (IN) Public library on their experience converting their MARC catalog data to BIBFRAME/Linked Data for publishing on the Web. The presentation will also cover how the library attempted to measure the impact of
Linked Data on library services and collection usage. </li><li>Indiana State Library on their Evergreen Indiana Linked Data project </li><li>MCLS and the Library of Michigan on their MeLCat Linked Data project </li></ul>
<p style="font-size: 14px;">This summit is an opportunity for librarians to explore the possibilities of what a fully integrated Linked Data world means for libraries and our communities. This event will also provide updates and presentations exploring what
is already happening to make that possibility a reality.</p>
