Momentum is high as the local paper is giving our building project front page coverage. We need a bond vote to fund the building. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">Alas, Lapeer County has no general elections in 2017. Some of us hate the thought of waiting almost two years for a vote. We cover twelve townships and a city so a special election would not be cheap.</span></div><div><br></div><div>Has any of you ever held a special election for a bond vote to fund a new building? Was there negative feedback?
