for 2016-2017, selecting Jack London’s <i>The Call of the Wild. </i>Our kick-off events will feature Creek Stewart, survivalist expert from the Weather Channel’s <i>Fat Guy in the Woods, </i>speaking at two branches <a dir="ltr" href="x-apple-data-detectors://37" x-apple-data-detectors="true" x-apple-data-detectors-type="calendar-event" x-apple-data-detectors-result="37">on
Saturday, September 24th</a><i><a dir="ltr" href="x-apple-data-detectors://37" x-apple-data-detectors="true" x-apple-data-detectors-type="calendar-event" x-apple-data-detectors-result="37">.</a> Other programming will </i>include Michael Oakes, a Jack London

which have committed to having their 6<sup>th</sup> and 7<sup>th</sup>grade classes read <i>The Call of the Wild</i> in the fall. In addition, our partnership with the Flint Youth Theater means that over 800 students will engage with the classic through reading,
listening to and experiencing a theatrical interpretation of the classic.</span></font></p>
