          a Masters degree in
          library science or library and information science from a

          post-degree experience in a professional public library

          least two (2) years have been in a position of administration
          and supervision
          in a public library.  <br>

          a thorough knowledge of all facets of public library service;
          an enthusiasm for
          and understanding of small-town librarianship; the ability to
          manage and
          prioritize multiple projects; excellent communications skills;

          management abilities; the ability to work effectively with
          other governmental
          agencies, civic and community groups, and the general public;
          and the ability
          to address challenges in a collaborative and creative manner.
          Experience with a
