Wayne State's School of Library and Information Science is among the largest ALA-accredited MLIS programs in the United States and Canada. We currently have approximately 500 enrolled students. On average, 80 LIS students graduate each semester and enter the
profession ready to apply the core principles of librarianship - information access, organization, services, management, and archival skills– as well as implement emerging technologies such data analytics, information architecture and web site development
across a variety of information intensive environments.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
