<p class="MsoNormal">The Library of Michigan is reaching out to libraries who are considering taking advantage of the changes to fiber funding for last-mile provisioning that became possible with the E-Rate modernization orders. To obtain state matching dollars
that can be used to leverage federal funds we will need to go to the legislature with the Department of Education with a special funding request. In order to prepare for this we need to know how many libraries are considering applying and where you are in
the process. If this possibility is on your radar, please take this very short survey:<o:p></o:p></p>

in the process (e.g. “We are shovel-ready and will be applying for E-Rate dollars in 2016;” “We’re 2-3 years out” etc.).<o:p></o:p></p>
