<p>At the Friends of Michigan Libraries we've had some conversations about insurance for Friends groups. As 501c3 organizations (as I understand the issue) they are not covered by their host library's policy. United for Libraries has also had a recent change in policy regarding insurance as well. </p>
<p>I'd be interested to learn of what other methods or processes are used to provide that protection for Friends groups. Also, any recommendations or comments about Insurance Companies or policy issues that need to be evaluated.</p>
