<p><strong>A Seminar Generations in the Making</strong><br />What better way to make your ancestors happy than to honor their lives and times through studying your family tree? Pinckney Community Public Library is proud to announce its inaugural 2015 Pinckney Area Genealogy Seminar: Putting the Puzzle Together , to be held Saturday, April 18, 2015<br />at the Pinckney Community Public Library, 125 Putnam Street, Pinckney, MI 48169. Find out how to get started and how to get even further along in revealing every branch in your own family tree.</p>

<p>Featured experts Diane Oslund and Karen Krugman will offer practical advice on genealogy research for those just starting out, and especially for those needing more advanced tips and information. Topics addressed include: where to start; organizing your research and documents; tracing female<br />ancestors through their married or maiden names; searching newspaper archives and databases for more than just obituaries; and how to find and add personal details to your family tree, in addition to names and dates.</p>
