<p><strong>Lincoln Township Public Library in Stevensville, MI seeks a full time children's librarian.</strong><br>
</p>

<p><strong>Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provides services to children of Lincoln Township Public Library service area</li><li>Provides story times</li><li>Plans and implements the Summer Reading Program</li><li>Develops and maintains the collection of children’s literature to meet the needs of the community</li><li>Provides outreach to organizations which serve children</li><li>Compiles reading lists on assigned subjects and prepares books displays</li><li>Works the Circulation Desk and the Children’s reference desk, answers reference questions, and interacts positively with the public in person, on the phone and online</li><li>Provides reference and advisory services to customers in the area of children’s literature.</li><li>Provides assistance in study-oriented activities and in developing children’s reading interests</li><li>Plans, schedules, conducts and evaluates children’s programs</li></ul>

<p align="center"><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited library school is required </li><li>Knowledge of children’s literature, services and programming is required</li><li>Professional experience providing services to, and interacting with, children is a plus</li><li>Strong computer skills (software, database, PC’s) is a plus</li><li>Good people skills and an outgoing personality</li></ul>
<p>Starting pay: $30,000 per year; Free Health Insurance included</p>
