<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;">The Pinckney Community Public Library is hosting a new and exciting fundraising event this May. PCPL & Bob Bauer of Woodward One Media and Hardcore Music Concert presents <strong>“Pinckney in May: a Blues Benefit for Books”</strong> on <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Saturday, May 17 from 5-10pm</span>. The concert features a live blues, jazz, bluegrass, and country music mix in a small, intimate setting.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;">The new library building takes pride of place during the evening's events. The community is invited to explore all the amenities the updated library has to offer. The concert, featuring Detroit-area band, The Infatuations, will take place in the large program room, while a silent auction, refreshments and libations will be available in the main part of the library.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;">Silent auction items include donations of: framed art work by local artists, gift baskets, gift certificates for local services, and of course books. Refreshments featured are local micro-brews, Michigan wines and designer desserts and savories by a local pasty chef.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;">Only 100 tickets are available and are expected to sell quickly. All proceeds from this event will go towards growing the library's collection, which includes items such as physical books, e-books, audio-books, magazines, cd's, dvd's newspapers, Newsbank databases, genealogy resources and more.</p>

<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt;">Concert tickets are available at the library in advance for $15 each or $25 for 2 ($2 processing fee for online purchases. All major credit cads accepted.) Tickets will be sold at the door for $20 on Saturday, May 17, starting at 5pm. Silent auction bidding will begin on Monday, May 12, and continue on through the concert. Winners need not be present to win. To view Silent Auction Items and photos, visit <a href="http://pinclib.tumblr.com/silentauctionitems" target="_blank">http://pinclib.tumblr.com/silentauctionitems</a>.</p>
