<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">Imposter Phenomenon (IP), also known as Imposter Syndrome, has been a popular</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">topic in higher education for over 30 years. The idea comes from two</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">psychologists, Dr. Pauline Rose Clance and Dr. Suzanne Ament Imes, both of whom</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">noticed reoccurring anxieties among successful women/men in managerial roles.</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">The idea behind IP is that no matter how hard one works, or how successful one</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">becomes, the individual feels like a fraud. At any moment they will be “found</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">out” by supervisors that they are not as “good”, “intelligent”, or</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">“successful” as they appear to be.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;">
</span>They feel as if their success was by</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">chance or by luck and not from their own abilities.</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;"><br>

<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">There is no known or expected risk, threat, or harm to either potential project</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">participants or project participants or others. The short survey should take</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">approximately 15-25 minutes to complete. A portion of this survey contains the</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS) with permission of the author (see</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">permission statement below). No data is saved until the participant submits the</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">full survey. You are asked to voluntarily provide specific information to this</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">web site. You may skip any question, or stop participating at any time. The</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">information collected will be used for the stated purposes of this research</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">project only and will not be provided to any other party for any other reason</div>
<div style="font-family: Consolas; font-size: medium;">at any time except and only if required by law. You should be aware that</div>
