<div dir="ltr">I believe we may have found the book.  It's actually a fairly recent publication--January 2014, although the murder occurred in 1978.  The Snake and the Spider by Karen Kingsbury.  I have contacted our patron and will come back if it's not the right one.  Thanks so much for all your suggestions and the prompt responses!</div>

<div dir="ltr">We have a patron looking for a book that was written about a Michigan man who was murdered in Florida.  She believes it occurred in the 1970s, specifically 1973, along the road/highway.  We are truly stumped on this one.  The other clue is that she believes the title is "something" & "something", but obviously doesn't know what the "somethings" are.  Any ideas out there?<span><font color="#888888"><br clear="all">
