Shannon and her team have worked diligently on this conference so it will be one of or THE best ever. The transportation is being worked out by Shannon and the transportation folks, and she expects that everyone should be able to get over to the island. The weather is expected to improve even more by the time you will be ready to return to the mainland. Please do not let all of the work that went into getting this conference ready go to waste.

<br />> I called Shepler’s this morning to ask how 150 people would fit on this boat. They hope to be able to put buses and vans on the deck and fill them with people, but they aren’t sure they will be able to because yesterday ice was coming over the bow. Getting there is only our first concern. With a shift in the wind it could jam up again and we could be stranded on the island. Ferry service is still subject to cancellation.
