<p class="MsoPlainText">The 2014 Michigan Notable Books have been announced. See the Michigan Notable Books web site at
<a href="http://www.michigan.gov/notablebooks">www.michigan.gov/notablebooks</a> for a complete list and more detailed information about the program. Authors will visit 50 libraries across the state in April, May and June of 2014.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">If your library is interested in hosting an author this year, please complete the attached "Application to Participate In the Author Tour" form and fax or mail it back to the Library of Michigan by Friday, January 31. The Author Tour
is open to all types of Michigan libraries. To help with assigning authors, please list your top 5 author "picks". Remember that by agreeing to take part in the MNB Author Tour your library may be assigned any of the 2013 authors on this year's list. A complete
list of the participating authors is not available at this time. Several of the authors will not be able to take part in the MNB Author Tour. Every effort is made to match libraries with requested authors, but author availability and scheduling can be extremely
challenging. Your flexibility and understanding is greatly appreciated. Once author assignments have been made, libraries will need to work directly with authors to schedule an agreeable date.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">The success of the Michigan Notable Books program is due in large part to the great programs individual libraries have organized in past years. This program would not succeed without Michigan libraries' commitment to informing patrons,
