The North Muskegon Branch is one of the busiest of our ten (10) branches and is in the preliminary phase of a building project. This branch has a vibrant, active Friends group<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>REQUIREMENTS: MLS from an ALA accredited university, possession of Michigan Librarian’s Professional Certificate or the qualifications to obtain one. Minimum of three (3) years experience as a professional Librarian preferably at a public library. Supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of current library trends and professional practices and excellent computer skills are a plus.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>DUTIES: Under the supervision of the MADL Director, manages all phases of a branch library. Assesses community needs and plans programs. Trains, supervises, evaluates and schedules staff. Builds and maintains appropriate collection of materials.
