<div dir="ltr">POSITION TITLE: (2) Part-Time, Librarians<br>REPORTS TO: Library Director<br><br>MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:<br> Master of Library Science from an ALA-accredited university required<br>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required<br>
Must be familiar with library automated book catalogs and an expert using library online databases<br> Must have experience in tutoring or teaching<br> Must have ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals<br>
Must have ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, customers and the general public<br> Must have ability to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 25 pounds<br><br>
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>
Provide reference service and learning support to students within the scope of the service program plan<br> Conduct library instruction sessions as scheduled<br> Collection development<br> Take primary responsibility for, or assist with, related projects as assigned<br>
Provide computer assistance and troubleshooting for students<br> Assume librarian-in-charge responsibilities as assigned, such as supervisory responsibilities during evenings and weekends<br> Other duties as assigned.<br>
<br>WORK SCHEDULE:<b><br>1st position: 15-25 hours per week; 30 weeks per year</b><br><b>2nd position: 15-25 hours per week; 39 weeks per year<br>Some evening and weekend hours may be required</b><br><br>STARTING DATE: ASAP<br>
